Accessibility statement
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance. Real users matter more than checkboxes, so we welcome feedback any time you hit a friction point.
What we've built in
- Keyboard navigation: every interactive element is focusable and activatable with keyboard alone. Visible focus rings on all controls.
- Screen-reader labels: the canvas wheel has a descriptive aria-label; modals announce themselves; live regions update sound-mute and verdict text.
- Color contrast: all five themes meet AA contrast ratios for body text and AAA for large text. The Classroom theme is specifically tuned for high contrast on projectors.
- Tap targets: minimum 44px tap targets on mobile.
- Reduced motion: users with prefers-reduced-motion set get static animations.
- Sound is optional: sound mute toggle is one tap; preference persists across visits. The wheel works fully without audio.
- Vibration: on-by-default for win confirmation; toggle in browser settings.
- Text scaling: the layout reflows when users zoom or set larger text in their OS.
Known limitations
- The canvas wheel is rendered visually; we do not currently announce the wheel rotation in real-time to screen readers (we announce only the final winner). If you need a fully audio-described picker, contact us — we can prioritize it.
- Some advertising units inside ad slots are governed by Google AdSense and we have limited control over their accessibility. The site outside ad slots is fully under our control.
Reporting issues
Email [email protected] with the page URL, browser/screen-reader, and what didn't work. We aim to respond within 5 business days and ship fixes for AA-blockers within 30 days.
